Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Travel RN in Emergency Room to provide high-quality patient care during a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong clinical skills and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support patient assessment, triage, and treatment in the Emergency Department.
• Execute advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members including paramedics, EMTs, and unit staff.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and compassionate patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with ACLS, BLS, PALS, or ENPC certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a high-pressure setting.
• Show flexibility in shift scheduling, including availability for weekend shifts.
• Maintain certifications in TNCC or CPI as required.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
