Overview Bassett Healthcare Network , in Central New York, is seeking an Ophthalmologist to join our staff. Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000 Location: Cooperstown, NY Residency/Fellowship Stipend: Up to $40,000 Job Description & Responsibilities: Join an established group of 5 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon-general ophthalmologist Currently there are specialists in medical retina, pediatrics and glaucoma. Sub-specialty interest in glaucoma, oculoplastic, cornea and cataract surgery would be welcome The support staff is well trained and experienced in both the clinic and operating room On call is every 5th weekend and rarely busy Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Visa sponsorship available – J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome to apply MD, DO or MBBS BE/BE in Ophthalmology Completion of an accredited USA Ophthalmology New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain) BLS Certification Required Compensation Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards Residency stipend up to $40,000 for up to 18 months prior to graduation Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000 Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.
