Your leadership will serve as an example, embodying the company's culture while ensuring exceptional service for our pet parents. You’ll work towards achieving business goals and fostering a collaborative environment for your team. Key Responsibilities People Leadership Drive recruitment, hiring, coaching, and performance management. Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with your associates and leveraging their feedback. Create and manage team schedules with input from leadership. Support and develop associates through training, mentoring, and performance recognition. Encourage accountability and ownership among team members for their contributions. Maintain open communication and adapt team priorities to meet store goals. Customer Experience Management Lead initiatives to enhance both associate and customer experiences while ensuring the wellbeing of the pets in our care. Address and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Collaborate with the Store Leadership team for in-store and community events. Regularly evaluate operations to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and store policies. Business Management Achieve corporate strategies and financial objectives. Analyze store performance and communicate results to team members. Identify growth opportunities and manage resources effectively, including labor and expenses. Complete necessary reporting and paperwork on time. Qualifications 4-6 years of leadership experience in retail or a customer-focused environment. Available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in computer applications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and handle various tasks.
