Located in Troy, New York, our hospital provides a comprehensive behavioral health program that encompasses inpatient services across three units, along with a strong outpatient program situated on the hospital grounds. An interdisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering specialized care that addresses the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adult patients.

This position is available for immediate start and will involve collaborating with a team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners to deliver compassionate care to our patients.

Position Overview:

• The Psychiatrist will be responsible for outpatient care for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
• Call Rotation: 1:6 on weekends; 1:7 on weeknights.

Qualifications:

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Preferred experience in an outpatient environment.
• DEA and New York State licensure required.
• Strong clinical and communication skills, along with a commitment to team-oriented care.

Compensation Package:

Our organization offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Compensation ranging from $318,449 to $354,957, based on experience, with opportunities for additional earnings through a generous quality incentive.
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
• Relocation assistance is available.
• A starting bonus of $35,000.
• A retention bonus of $15,000 at the start of the second year.
• A retention bonus of $15,000 at the beginning of the third year.
