CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $30 - $38 per hour Location & Shift Glendale Heights, IL. Onsite. 1st or 2nd Shift. Core Responsibilities & Required Experience This is a hands‑on machining role for someone comfortable running production independently. What You Will Do Set up and operate CNC lathes (multi‑axis, live tooling preferred) Load programs and make offsets as needed Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Perform first‑article inspections and in‑process checks Troubleshoot tooling, program, and machine issues Maintain quality and production standards What You Bring 3+ years CNC lathe setup experience Experience with multi‑axis lathes and live tooling preferred Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments Experience making program edits or conversational programming Strong attention to detail and quality A bit about us Our client is a precision manufacturer producing tight‑tolerance machined components for industrial and automotive applications.
