Position Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, drywall and appliance repairs, across guest rooms and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Room Maintenance and Repair: Perform a range of maintenance tasks in guest rooms and bathrooms, including the installation of baseboards and trim, and conducting water heater replacements. Ensure all work meets high quality standards and is completed efficiently.

- Kitchen and Appliance Repairs: Conduct repairs and maintenance on kitchen appliances, including dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens. Address plumbing issues such as sink drainage problems, faucet replacements, and pipe leaks.

- Plumbing Diagnostics and Repairs: Identify and repair plumbing issues within guest units, including faucets, toilets, showers, bathtub fittings, and garbage disposals.

- Electrical Repairs: Carry out routine electrical repairs including replacing light fixtures, servicing electrical outlets and switches, and troubleshooting malfunctioning systems to ensure safe operation.

- Finish Work and Interior Repairs: Execute finishing tasks post-repair, such as texture application, priming, and painting of drywall and other surfaces, caulking as well as repairing or replacing damaged drywall and patching holes in walls. Ensure a clean, aesthetically pleasing result that aligns with the resort’s quality standards.

- General Maintenance Tasks: Perform various handyman duties including HVAC filter replacements, ceiling fan installations.

Guest Experience Responsibilities:

- Timely Response: Provide prompt and courteous responses to guest calls, ensuring all assistance is delivered professionally and efficiently.

- Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with Front Desk and Maintenance department staff to coordinate service requests, minimizing guest disruption and managing expectations effectively.

- Emergency Procedures: Assist with emergency situations as necessary, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction during critical incidents.

Essential Qualifications:

- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.

- Participation required during storms, as a part of Resort’s Ride Out Team.

- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.

- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.100

- Background and drug screening may be required.
