Compensation: Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $30–$35 per hour Compensation based on experience and qualifications Professional development and growth opportunities Exposure to specialized work rehabilitation programs Qualifications: Current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant license required Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required Ability to maintain continuing education requirements for PTA licensure Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform prolonged standing and sitting activities Strong commitment to patient-centered care Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment What You’ll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioWorks, you will work closely with supervising Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality treatment plans focused on restoring function, reducing pain, and helping patients return to meaningful activities. You will assist patients throughout their rehabilitation journey while helping maintain a safe and supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities: Administer therapy treatments according to Physical Therapist plans of care Monitor patient response and communicate significant changes to supervising Physical Therapists Provide input regarding treatment progression, goals, and discharge planning Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress Safely operate therapy equipment and treatment devices Perform stretching, soft tissue techniques, and manual interventions within PTA scope of practice Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas and equipment Assist with administrative and clerical responsibilities as needed Support a positive and professional clinical environment Skills: Strong therapeutic exercise and functional training skills Ability to monitor and adjust patient treatment within established plans of care Excellent communication and patient education abilities Strong documentation and organizational skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfort learning and integrating new technology Growth & Learning Opportunities At PhysioWorks, we believe in supporting our clinicians as they grow their skills and advance professionally.
