Job Description
The Automotive Technician will join a small independent shop as part of a dedicated technician team. This role involves performing essential vehicle maintenance and repair services with a focus on brake service, preventive maintenance, and thorough inspections. The technician will work regular weekday shifts and utilize generic scanning tools to diagnose vehicle issues while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform brake services and repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Inspect vehicles to identify issues and necessary repairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of brake systems and preventive maintenance
- Experience using generic automotive diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
