This full-time contract role offers the chance to support multiple schools as an itinerant therapist, bringing specialized care and expertise to students throughout the district. With a start date in November and coverage extending through February, you’ll be stepping in during a key maternity leave period, working onsite to provide essential therapy services.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Physical Therapist license
• School-based experience highly preferred
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
• Willingness and ability to travel between schools as assigned
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compliance with fingerprinting through TEA (if not completed with another Texas public school district in the last year)
• Availability to provide two references from your most recent supervisors

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans to students across multiple campuses
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
• Assist in the development of IEPs and contribute as a member of the multidisciplinary team
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
• Help create inclusive environments so all students can access their education
