FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Floor Technician – Miami Valley Hospital South Location: Miami Valley Hospital South, 2400 Miami Valley Drive, Centerville, OH 45459. Online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time, Tuesday – Saturday, 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Further details upon interview. Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. Job Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
