Premium Auditor – Wilmington, NC | Flexible Schedule | Home-Based Position

Compensation: $30–$45 Per Billable Hour (estimated annual earnings $50-$60k)

RLD Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Premium Auditor to join our team in Wilmington, NC. This full-time remote position involves conducting physical field audits at insured locations within your designated territory, as well as hybrid audits completed remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review assigned audit requests, including Workers' Compensation and General Liability policies
• Manage and prioritize a territory-based audit inventory
• Conduct onsite and and virtual audits of business operations, payroll, and other financial records
• Research and apply insurance classification and manual rules
• Contact insureds to schedule audit appointments and maintain professional communication throughout the audit process

Territory & Travel

This position will require regular travel in the Wilmington, NC area.

• Primary workload consists of physical field audits conducted up to a 60 mile radius of Wilmington, NC
• Travel is typically 3-4 days per week depending on field assignments
• Opportunities are available to supplement your workload with hybrid audits completed entirely from home

What We're Seeking

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounting, or auditing
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Compensation & Earning Potential

Compensation is based on billable audit hours, ranging from $30 to $45 per hour depending on audit type, with estimated annual earnings of $50-$60k.
