Job Summary:
The Electrical Design Review Engineer supports vertical construction projects by reviewing electrical design packages for military facilities, ensuring compliance with NEC, UFC, and applicable standards. This role provides technical recommendations, supports quality assurance, and works independently throughout the design review process.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Hands-on experience of electrical engineering design experience.
- Must have experience working on Federal Government projects or Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Electrical power distribution systems (208V, 480V, and primary voltage)
- Lightning protection system design
- Electrical generator system design
- Fire alarm system design (NFPA 72)
- Communications and data systems
- Electrical grounding system design
Preferred Technical Skills:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Civil 3D
- ELUM (Lighting Design)
- EasyPower (Power Systems Analysis)
