Family Physician (Full Time & Per Diem) Medical JOB SUMMARY Provides comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardlessof age or sex, on continuing basis; Conducts a program of primary careresponsibility for examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients; Elicitshistory, examines patients, order, performs and interpret laboratory andx-ray examinations, diagnoses and performs or order necessary treatment;Participates in the developmental and implementation of the performanceimprovement program including the medical record, protocols for the medicalmanagement of health programs and an internal medical audit mechanism;Provides medical supervision to the assigned staff or nurse, nurse practitioner,physician assistants, medical residents, student and other paraprofessionals. QUALIFICATIONS Medical degree from a medical college approved by the American MedicalAssociation; Completed internship and residency training from an approvedmedical facility; Two or more years of experience as a Family Practitioneris preferred; Board certified or board eligible by specialty board. #J-18808-Ljbffr Morris Heights Health Center
