Job Details

• Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630–$1,750
• Assignment Setting: Hospital respiratory therapy unit
• Credentialing Note: 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible

Job Requirements

• Active CRT or RRT credential in good standing through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification for adults required
• At least 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Hospital-based respiratory care experience strongly preferred
• NICU or PCU experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy care to patients in a hospital setting
• Perform patient assessments and deliver appropriate respiratory treatments
• Support airway management and respond to changing patient needs with urgency and professionalism
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, high-quality clinical standards
• Contribute to a calm, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
