Forklift Field Service Repair Tech

Pridestaff is looking for a Forklift Field Service Repair Tech in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts at customer sites. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, replacing components, managing on-board parts inventory, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Requires 2+ years of experience, technical skills in hydraulics/electronics, and a valid driver's license. The territory is Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Southeast Indiana and Central Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be provided with major tools, company van, phone, laptop, tablet, and gas card. Need to supply their own hand tools. Benefits available after either 60 or 90 Days. Individual will represent the company in their interaction with their customers, so need someone who is proud to be the point of reference for customers. Will need to fly to Denver to finish certification after training (at company expense).

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Repairs: Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion (IC) forklifts.
• Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and component replacements.
• Field Service: Drive to customer sites, troubleshoot equipment, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Parts Management: Identify, order, and manage parts inventory in the company service van.
• Customer Service: Provide professional, on-site support to customers.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of forklift technician experience.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Diagnostics: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Tools: Must have own tools.
• License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy components and work independently.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $82,000.00 Per Year
