About the role Assistant Operations Manager - responsible for overseeing operations function within the boutique, ensuring smooth running to enable exceptional client experience, and working closely with Operations Manager and boutique leaders. What you can create at CHANEL Own all operational functions: Inventory Control, Shipping & Receiving, Alterations, Facilities Management, Security, Resource Planning/Staffing, Compliance, Expense Management. Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives to increase operational efficiency. Lead and coach operationally aligned staff to deliver flawlessly. Foster positive environment and culture of feedback, diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork. Be the ultimate expert on SOPs, systems, and tools for the boutique team. Lead projects and take initiative. Assist in managing budget and forecasting expenditures. You are energized by History and heritage of CHANEL. Organizational and attention to detail skills within multi‑task projects in dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Building collaborative partnerships and relationships. Curiosity and desire to learn and grow professionally within the world of CHANEL. Position Logistics Minimum 3 years related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to lift 15 lbs. Flexible schedule: ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays. In‑store presence required for boutique management: develop coach teams, uphold image and standards, deliver elevated client service. Compensation Base salary range: $70,200 to $100,000 per year. Base salary is one component of total compensation. Other components may include additional compensation, benefits, and perks.
