Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Darien, IL

Your expertise as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) will ensure continuity of care and communication development in a collaborative, welcoming school environment near Darien, IL. Key Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois for school-based practice Experience working with early elementary children, especially K-2 populations Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Primary Responsibilities Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and support to students in K-2 Serve 3 days per week in a self-contained classroom, integrating interventions into daily routines Deliver pull-out speech services 2 days per week to address individual student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals Document progress and maintain required records in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed This contract position offers the chance to work with a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a supportive interdisciplinary team.
