This position supports deli operations by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment while assisting team members with general cleaning and stocking duties as needed. Key Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and food preparation equipment. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of sinks, dishwashing areas, floors, walls, and workstations. Remove trash and recycling and dispose of waste according to company procedures. Sweep and mop floors to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Assist with cleaning deli display cases, refrigerators, and food preparation areas. Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Support deli staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned. Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with team members. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Previous dishwashing, janitorial, or food service experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
