Patient Services Coordinator

Supporting prior authorization for commercial plans, the full-time Patient Services Coordinator will manage inbound calls from clinics and hospitals, route requests for review, and track status updates in a remote role based in Virginia. Key responsibilities Receive and route prior authorization requests from provider offices via fax or online Confirm receipt of requests and provide status updates to clinics and hospitals through phone communication Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely review and processing of authorization requests Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required Experience working in the healthcare field is required Health plan experience is highly preferred Experience in a call center or similar phone-based role is preferred
