Position Details Position: System ED Float RN Department: Premier Nursing Float Pool Facility: Emergency Department - All Facilities & Freestanding ED's Shift: Full-time Days 7:00am-7:30pm/ 72 Hours Per Pay Responsibilities The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. The RN utilizes the nursing process with evidence‑based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as a guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, collaborating with and guiding care delivered by the inter‑professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards. The Premier System Float Level1 – Acuity Specific RN System‑wide Float rotates to acuity‑specific units to subsidize staffing shortages as needed enterprise‑wide.
