Maintenance Technician

Must HaveStrong experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issuesAbility to repair, install, and maintain a broad range of machinery and equipmentKnowledge of older shapers & hobs (Fellows, Liebherr, Pfauter)Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak (Mazatrol), Siemens, Okuma OSP, Haas (Heidenhain a plus)Knowledge of Renishaw probing and ballbar systemsExperience with HVAC, plant equipment, utilities, and facility systemsAbility to read and create schematics: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC ladder logic, mechanical drawingsAbility to perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic rebuildsTroubleshooting skills on CNC equipment (mechanical & electrical)Ability to rig, install, and align equipmentWelding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG)Ability to cut, weld, fabricate, and machine partsUnderstanding of shop math and industrial formulasAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsComfortable working at heightsAbility to lift, move, and manipulate up to 35 lbsPreferred / Required:Electrician License (preferred or must obtain)Ability to meet PIE requirements to operate equipmentResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues across a wide range of machine toolsPerform installation, leveling, ballbar testing, laser alignment, maintenance, and repairsInstall and repair electrical/electronic systems on machines and facility equipmentPerform preventative maintenance on machinery and plant systemsDiagnose, disassemble, repair, align, and reassemble mechanical componentsInstall equipment and perform rigging operationsTest mechanical and electrical systems following repair or installationCreate, read, and update technical drawings, schematics, and PLC documentationParticipate in rebuild projects including hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC wiring, programming, and mechanical systemsPerform CNC equipment upgrades and troubleshootingCoordinate with internal and external technical resources for parts and repairsParticipate in training programs for cross‑discipline skill developmentCut, weld, and fabricate machine parts and guardingTroubleshoot hydraulic issues and read hydraulic schematicsUse shop math and measuring instruments for diagnostics and repairLog maintenance activities using the maintenance systemMaintain clean, safe work areas and support 6S initiativesTrain new employees and support team‑based work environmentsFollow all safety proceduresPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsComfortable working at heightsAbility to stand or walk for extended periodsMust meet equipment operation requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
