Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our accounting processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage complex accounting activities, and ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards. Your expertise will support strategic decision-making, streamline financial reporting, and maintain the organization’s financial health. Activities and Perspectives Accounting and bookkeeping for the U.S. plant and sales office Control of ledger compliance according to U.S. GAAP and group standards Stock control Accounting of general ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger, and banks Supported by local auditors, annual reporting is conducted according to US GAAP and group standards CapEx and Fixed Asset Accounting Cash flow & tax management Joins communication with governments, tax advisers, and other local partners Office-based job, located in Moorefield, WV Requirements Bachelor's degree or proven qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field At least five years of professional experience working in a similar role at a manufacturing company Experienced in developing B/S and P&L reports in time for deadlines and annual audits Knowledge of legal requirements regarding taxes and compliance Hands‑on and self‑managed Teamwork mentality and open-mindedness Your Advantages Family‑owned company with a stable and supportive structure Positive working conditions and an attractive salary 401(k) retirement plan with a company contribution Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation (starting at 12 days), holidays, and sick leave Short-term and long-term disability insurance Ongoing support, training and development Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Mettler Packaging Llc
