The Pre-Admission Testing Department serves patients of all ages who require surgical intervention such as general surgery, bariatric, otolaryngology, plastic, vascular, urology, orthopedic, gynecological, and robotic surgery. The unit also serves patients for procedures such as cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology. The department assesses the patient's care needs through care planning that is age specific.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• The RN will be responsible in preparation of the patient prior to surgery via a telephone or in-person encounter.
• Monday-Friday 7:30a-6p or 8a-6:30p; 10 hour Day Shift. No weekends or on-call.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.

Related Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably surgical, ambulatory, or med surg.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Active NJ RN license required.
