AI Research Scientist

The company is solving complex, real-world problems using cutting-edge techniques in large-scale model training, optimisation, and deployment. This is an opportunity for a Research Scientist to join an exceptional team working at the intersection of research and production-grade AI systems. About the Role As a Research Scientist, you will contribute directly to the development of novel AI/ML methodologies and their application in real-world systems. You will work closely with other researchers and engineers to design experiments, develop models, and translate research breakthroughs into scalable products. The role sits within a highly technical environment where research rigor and practical impact are equally valued. What You’ll Be Doing Conducting research in machine learning, deep learning, and/or foundation models Designing and running experiments to test new hypotheses and model architectures Developing and improving state-of-the-art models for real-world applications Collaborating with engineers to bring research into production systems Analysing large-scale datasets to derive insights and improve model performance Publishing internal and potentially external research where appropriate Staying current with the latest developments in AI/ML research What We’re Looking For Strong academic or industry background in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or a related field Experience building or researching deep learning models at scale Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch or TensorFlow) Strong understanding of modern ML techniques (e.g. transformers, diffusion models, or large language models) Ability to translate research ideas into practical implementations Experience working in fast-paced research or startup environments is highly desirable Why This Role?
