Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Production Supervisor This individual supervises and directs team members while overseeing manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor spends a majority of their time leading teams and coordinating the activities of the production floor. Monitors quality levels, safety, production and the performance of team members. Responsibilities include: Supervising and coordinating activities of the plant, including schedules to support efficient production operations Expediting operations that delay schedules and altering staffing to meet unforeseen conditions Producing quality materials by following ISO practices, eliminating non-value added activity and ensuring compliance to specification and conformance to policies and procedures Partnering with other Production Specialists to ensure status of assigned projects, resolve problems affecting production schedules, effective utilization of resources, inventory assets and capital equipment resources Planning workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times Achieving key performance indicators Collaborating with the other team members to understand the critical needs of the internal and external customers. Assuming major responsibility for SQDCC (safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash)
