Be the Best Accountant You Can Be Qualifications Experience working in multi‑unit service industries or healthcare environment preferred Must have 3-5 years experience as an Accountant with a clearly demonstrated track record of progressive responsibilities; preferably in a company with $100+ million in revenue Must possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes Experience using Great Plains is highly preferred. MS Office Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel skills Skills / Abilities Must be detailed oriented and well organized Needs to possess a solid level of technical and problem‑solving skills Must be committed to high standards, integrity and ethics Need to be a results focused high achiever and deliver on commitments Must have a strong team collaborative viewpoint Possess great analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Strong desire to learn and advance career Responsibilities Compile, record, review and post payroll entries Prepare monthly journal entries Full engagement with monthly close process Review entries for completeness and accuracy Analyze financial results for assigned accounts Prepare timely account reconciliations as assigned Research budget and trend variances through examination of AP invoices, data extract analysis, and operational updates Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately Maintain proper internal controls in line with applicable statutory standards and company policies Prepare ad hoc accounting reports for department management and outside agencies as required Provide management with monthly financial highlights and variance analysis Participate in financial statement review meetings with assigned leadershipCompletes other duties as assigned Come As You Are At AccentCare, our care is most compassionate when we empathize and engage with everyone, and we are at our best when we value diverse perspectives, foster open dialogue, and enact change.
