What You Will Do:Architect and scale high-throughput data processing pipelines and serving infrastructure critical to real-time ad delivery.Engineer our next-generation data platform, focusing on self-service capabilities that empower cross-functional teams to deploy data into production with minimal friction.Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, translating complex ads logic into highly distributed, efficient, and resilient system architectures.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field6 years of experience in backend software developmentExperience working in cloud environments, particularly AWSDemonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systemsProven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering resultsExperience building ads serving system.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non- technical stakeholders across all levels of the organizationAbility to work in multi-cultural, cross functional teamExperience building highly scalable and low latency systems in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentExperience leading a project of building large scale data serving platformProficiency in Java and the Spring FrameworksPreferred QualificationsAbility and desire to drive solid design work on multi-threaded/multi-process, distributed systemA passion to explore, improve, automate and optimize distributed systems and toolsProven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional, fast-paced environmentsAbility to think outside-the-box and challenge conventional wisdomsExperience with advertising systems/Search advertising/Advertising Marketplace/Display advertising/Ad ServerExperience working with AWS (Amazon web services)Familiarity with Agile development practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience managing mission-critical services with high throughput and low latencyExperience working in fast pacing environmentExperience with Spark/Hive/Redis//KafkaStrong communication skills for interfacing with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end usersPay & BenefitsOur compensation reflects the cost of living across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.The base pay for Staff position ranges from $164/year to $282/year.
