Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic purposes.
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging tests such as HIDA, Bone, Lung, and Thyroid scans.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Start and maintain peripheral IV lines with proficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding procedures and results.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT N or NMTCB (CNMT) certification and BLS required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience within the last 7 years.
- Experience with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging technologies preferred.
- Possess knowledge of nuclear medicine theory, techniques, and radiation safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress and emergency situations.
- Past completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
