What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms with the instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently
• Inspect, assemble, and ensure proper functionality of surgical instruments and equipment
• Support surgical teams across a variety of specialties and patient populations
• Ensure accurate instrument counts and sterile field integrity throughout procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals
• Document and maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality surgical environment focused on positive patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

✅ Strong experience supporting surgical procedures in a hospital operating room setting

✅ Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and infection prevention practices

✅ Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments

✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

✅ Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred

✅ Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems preferred

✅ Ability to adapt to varying surgical cases and patient populations

✅ Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and surgical excellence

Requirements

✅ National Surgical Technologist Certification required

✅ Current BLS Certification required

✅ Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years required

✅ Must be eligible to obtain New Hampshire Medical Technician licensure upon acceptance

✅ Experience working in a hospital operating room environment

✅ Ability to meet all facility onboarding and credentialing requirements

✅ Must successfully pass facility-required drug screening, including THC testing

✅ All requested certifications, references, and compliance documents must be provided for submission
