Bakery Maintenance Technician

Overview As a Bakery Maintenance Technician, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities including installation, troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on donut processing equipment and factory needs. Core Responsibilities Maintain and repair automated equipment such as mixers, ovens, conveyors, proofers, slicers, and packing machines. Troubleshoot mechanical systems; examples are gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, hydraulics. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. Install new machinery or production lines. Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Safety Standards. (GMP, HACCP) Required Skills & Knowledge Industrial mechanic and machine maintenance Pneumatic and Hydraulic system Conveyor system and High Speed packing equipment Basic understanding of Automation and PLC-Controlled Machinery Must be able to read mechanical drawings and manuals. Be able to multi-task and have strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Maintenance. Experience in Food Manufacturing or Automated Production Environment (preferred) Knowledge of Food-Grade Materials and Lubrications. Willingness to work shifts and or on-call. This is a fast-paced work environment with temperature variations with freezers and ovens. This is on an automated production floor.
