Software Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Platform Support team supporting enterprise banking operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, collaboration, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Lead large-scale production support using ITIL practices to ensure system reliability and performance
- Support AI/ML and LLM-based systems, managing operational risks and incident response
- Implement and enhance observability, monitoring, and automation solutions for critical applications
- Participate in deployments, incident management, and change management activities
- Design resilient systems supporting on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise support or regulated industries
- Strong background in observability platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, or AppDynamics
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and automation tools such as Ansible
- Experience supporting large-scale Java/.NET applications and databases like Oracle or MSSQL
- Deep understanding of Agentic AI and its application in operational environments
