HSE Manager

Location: Buna / Beaumont, TX area, with regular travel across the service territory Reports to: President Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary The HSE Manager will lead the company's health, safety, and environmental program across our service territory, acting as a partner to our employees in the field. This role exists to make mechanics' jobs safer and easier through coaching, presence, and hands-on support, not through paperwork or citations. The HSE Manager will build trust with mechanics through regular site visits and open communication, while also owning the company's third-party compliance profiles (ISNetworld and Avetta) to keep the company qualified and competitive with customers who require them. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, field-oriented, and comfortable traveling regularly across a large, multi-state territory. Primary Responsibilities Field Partnership & Safety Culture Serve as a visible, trusted resource for mechanics in the field, building relationships through regular site visits, ride-alongs, and informal check-ins Coach mechanics on safe practices in the moment, focusing on problem-solving rather than discipline Partner with operations leadership to address safety issues collaboratively, treating HSE as a shared business priority Help build a culture where mechanics proactively report hazards and near-misses because they trust the process Travel & Site Support Travel on a monthly basis, at minimum, to visit mechanics and job sites throughout Houston, East Texas, and Louisiana Observe field conditions firsthand and identify practical improvements to job site safety Support customer and site-specific safety requirements, audits, and pre-qualification requests Own and maintain the company's ISNetworld and Avetta accounts, including subscriber requirements, documentation uploads, and annual renewals Maintain current insurance certificates, training records, and corrective action plans within both platforms Monitor account scores and respond promptly to customer or platform requests to keep the company audit-ready Develop and deliver field-relevant safety training, including fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined space, electrical safety, and elevator-specific hazards Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and work with mechanics and supervisors on practical corrective actions Track and manage required certifications, training renewals, and PPE compliance across the mechanic workforce Recordkeeping & Reporting Maintain OSHA recordkeeping, including 300 and 300A logs Support timely and accurate incident reporting to leadership and customers as required Maintain organized digital records of training, certifications, and compliance documentation Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of HSE experience in construction, elevator/escalator, industrial, or a related field-services trade Direct experience managing ISNetworld and/or Avetta compliance platforms A track record of building credibility and trust with field technicians Working knowledge of OSHA regulations relevant to elevator/construction trades (fall protection, LOTO, confined space, electrical safety) Comfort with independent travel and a flexible schedule to accommodate site visits across a multi-state territory Strong communication skills, able to coach mechanics in the field and report effectively to operations leadership Elevator/escalator industry experience is a plus but not required Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight travel Why Join Us Stable, long-term position within an essential-services industry Collaborative and supportive team environment Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and company holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Integrity Elevator Solutions
