Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Framingham, MA Job Type: Part-Time (5-10 hours/week) Flexible schedule Setting: Outpatient clinic

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing treatment plans, improving patient mobility, and contributing to high-quality rehabilitative care for both pediatric and adult populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercises and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred
• Experience with pediatric and/or adolescent patients is a plus
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques (craniosacral experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
