Public Safety Dispatcher Supervisor I

Under the direction of the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I provides general supervision and direction to eighteen Public Safety Dispatchers. The PSDSIs are responsible for preparing monthly PSD schedules; monitoring training and providing guidance to PSD trainees and trainers; preparing monthly and annual evaluations and Quality Control Audits; act as the Area's Custodian of Records; participate in the hiring process; perform the most difficult PSD duties; and perform other duties as assigned.

BDC has an anticipated vacancy for a permanent/full-time Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I (PSDSI) position. BDC PSDSIs are on the 4/10 alternate work week with quarterly shift and RDO sign ups done by seniority. Our center is located in the city of Barstow.
