Base Salary: $102,960–$160,617.60 annually, based heavily on experience
Openings: 1 HireNow Snapshot HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced nursing leader to direct a 40-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit serving infants with complex needs, including advanced respiratory support, prematurity, and surgical care. The Director will oversee approximately 60 full-time-equivalent staff positions and work closely with a Level II NICU supporting infants with feeding, growth, and discharge readiness. This opportunity combines clinical leadership, staff development, operational oversight, and collaboration across neonatal care teams. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner. • $102,960–$160,617.60
• Compensation is heavily based on relevant years of experience and employer assessment.

Schedule and Location

• Full-time in Denver, Colorado
• Monday–Friday administrative day hours
• No, regularly scheduled weekend shifts
• On-call responsibilities shared with two other leaders

Leadership Scope

• 40-bed Level IV NICU
• Approximately 60 FTEs
• Close collaboration with the Level II NICU

Key Responsibilities Anticipated responsibilities include:

• Provide nursing leadership for the Level IV NICU.
• Support safe, appropriate care for infants with complex neonatal needs.
• Guide staffing, department organization, and operational priorities.
• Coach and develop nursing staff and frontline leaders.
• Collaborate with providers and other clinical professionals to coordinate neonatal care.
• Partner with Level II NICU leadership to support continuity of care and transitions.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to clinical and operational concerns.
• Promote professional communication, accountability, and nursing practice standards.
• Participate in the shared leadership on-call rotation.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Colorado RN license or an active multistate RN license authorizing practice in Colorado
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least three years of charge, supervisory, or management experience
• Active, unencumbered nursing licensure with no current or previous disciplinary action
• Strong organizational, critical-thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate positively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory and practice
• Availability for administrative day hours and shared on-call coverage
