Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for monitoring MDM operations, resolving batch job failures, analyzing data quality issues, and implementing proactive fixes to maintain system stability.


Rate Range: $55/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and support daily, weekly, and monthly Informatica MDM batch jobs, ensuring successful data loading, synchronization, and timely resolution of data pipeline failures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MDM, ETL, data quality, failed batch jobs, data loading errors, and application incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring production issues and implement proactive solutions to improve system stability and prevent future failures.
• Write and analyze complex Oracle SQL queries to investigate data issues, validate data integrity, and support troubleshooting activities.
• Monitor and maintain integrations between MDM and downstream systems using APIs, REST/SOAP services, SIF, IDQ, and ETL tools while debugging interface and microservice-related issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and cross-functional teams to ensure data governance compliance, resolve data anomalies, and support ongoing business operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience supporting Informatica MDM, IDQ, ETL, and enterprise data management solutions in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub Console, IDD, SIF, Match/Merge rules, Oracle SQL, Dynatrace, Autosys, and IBM Sterling Integrator.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA), debug data integration issues, and resolve production incidents.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
