Retail Store Associate – Position Summary Retail Store Associates at CVS Health play a meaningful role by delivering differentiated customer service, anticipating customer needs, and supporting both store and pharmacy operations. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving potential service issues. Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items. Perform cashier duties precisely, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Support opening and closing store activities as needed. Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational while staying current with updated services and tools. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support growth and career development opportunities. Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical Requirements Remain upright on the feet, especially for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and small amounts regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting. Maintain close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, or visual inspection involving small parts/details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required). Work Hours & Compensation Anticipated weekly hours: 29 Time type: Part‑time Pay range: $15.00 - $15.00 per hour (base only; actual offer may vary based on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
