Experienced Business System Solutions Owner (Ariba Systems)

Role Overview Experienced Business System Solutions Owner (Ariba Systems) – The Boeing Company Locations: Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Seattle, WA. Position Responsibilities Own the development of an end‑to‑end product/solution vision, roadmap and backlog for supplier management capabilities (supplier lifecycle, portal, performance, risk, discovery). Act as the primary business‑facing owner for requirements, prioritization, and acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories. Lead stakeholder alignment across functions on strategy, trade‑offs and timelines. Support the definition of key success metrics (adoption, Service‑Level Agreements (SLAs), onboarding times, supplier performance scores, risk exposure) for continuous improvement. Support vendor evaluations and manage relationships with third‑party supplier management platforms. Support change management: training, communications, and rollout plans. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, data protection/regulatory requirements, and auditability of supplier records and activities. Basic Qualifications (Required) 3+ years of experience leading source‑to‑pay processes. Experience in Information Technology with an emphasis in supply chain business processes. Experience with industry ERP systems or equivalents such as SAP (System Applications and Products). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Experience with supplier lifecycle, portal, performance management and/or supplier risk programs. Experience with cross‑functional initiative ownership. Experience with regulatory and control requirements relevant to source‑to‑pay. Experience in industries with complex supply chains or regulatory needs (manufacturing, aviation, healthcare, defense, government). Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with supplier risk/intelligence data providers. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks affecting suppliers (e.g., GDPR, sanctions screening, conflict minerals). Conflict of Interest Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Pay & Benefits Summary pay range: $96,050 – $139,150.
