About the Position

The hospital has earned accolades for patient safety and nursing excellence. It serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke care, and neonatal intensive care. The facility is home to the busiest robotic surgery program in the region. It provides open heart and interventional cardiology services. The orthopedic unit has 32 individual patient rooms and a dedicated staff to ensure high-quality patient care. On the day shift, the patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 5:1, with a potential stretch to 6:1. The night shift has a standard ratio of 6:1, with a possible stretch to 7:1. Teamwork and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for candidates. The expected skills include dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter placement, and wound management. Candidates with previous hospital and orthopedic experience will be prioritized.
