Calibration Technician I

Calibration Technician IWe are seeking a reliable, eager-to-learn Calibration Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of calibration and instrumentation. The Technician I will support calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks under supervision while adhering to PCI and client-specific policies and procedures. The role involves travel to client sites and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with supervision, following accurate GxP documentation.Conduct basic pressure, temperature, humidity, time, and CO2 calibrations.Ensure safe handling and maintenance of PCI and client-owned equipment.Identify project supply needs and communicate to appropriate resources.Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.Maintain a neat and professional work area and complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance activities as needed.Skills & Qualifications:Basic understanding of calibration concepts, test accuracy, and safety requirements.Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.Strong organizational and communication skills.Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment and work in varying environments.Education & Experience:A two-year degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration.
