Avalon Medical Center is a busy outpatient clinic which caters to all populations dealing with cognitive disorders and mental health related disorders. We offer Neuropsychological evaluations, psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation treatments. LCSW responsibilities will include: Evaluating clients to determine their needs and the support options that can help them Creating individualized care plans for each client Referring clients to community resources to help their specific situations Collaborating with other care providers to coordinate services Monitoring clients Maintaining records of treatments and services Providing talk therapy Responding to crisis situations Qualifications: Empathy and emotional intelligence Strong communication skills Knowledge of various therapy options and treatments Familiarity with local resources that could help individuals and families Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Organizational and case management skills Familiarity with electronic medical records Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Medical Specialty: Primary Care Psychiatry Schedule: 8-hour shift Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Avalon Medical Center Llc
