Registered Nurse - High-Risk Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse specializing in High-Risk Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and skills relevant to high acuity and high volume environments, specifically within labor and delivery settings. This role includes performing critical responsibilities in the delivery process, as well as providing comprehensive care to newborns immediately following delivery.

Function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries, ensuring immediate and appropriate care of newborns until transfer to postpartum.

Provide neonatal care including assessments and administering necessary medications such as Vitamin K injections.

Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage care for patients with complex needs.

Utilize electronic fetal monitoring systems and adhere to AWHONN guidelines throughout the birthing process.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including midwifery clients and supportive services.

Maintain compliance with all certifications and competencies required for high-risk obstetric care.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a high-risk, high-paced labor and delivery environment.

Current active RN license.

Required certifications: BLS, NRP; Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate.

Must provide current supervisory references and proof of required certifications upon submission.

This is a Night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with a requirement to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
