MRI Technologist - Full Time

MRI Technologist Position

A leading healthcare client is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their team in a permanent role at a hospital in Traverse City, MI. You will accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. This facility is a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital serving Northern Michigan.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure for Michigan.
• BLS certification.
• Willingness to relocate required. Candidates must confirm relocation willingness at first contact; applications will not advance without confirmation.
• Experience working in hospital or trauma center environments preferred. Experience with CT and cross-coverage desirable; client is hiring for CT/MRI combined roles.
• Open to new graduates.
• Former employees are eligible if separated for more than one year and vetted per client process.

Benefits and Incentives:

• Sign-on bonus: $30,000 paid upfront at start. Repayment required if employment ends before two years.
• Relocation assistance: $2,000 for moves within Michigan; $3,000 for moves from outside Michigan.
• Retention Housing Grant totaling $24,000 over 24 months. Paid per pay period (prorated). Requires 24-month employment commitment. Repayment provisions apply if employment ends before specified milestones.
• Housing stipend option: $1,000 per month for 24 months (taxable), requires 24-month commitment.
• Austin Relocation available for housing assistance.
• All bonuses, housing assistance, and grants are subject to identical repayment terms. If candidate leaves before 2 years, full repayment required. If candidate leaves before 90 days, repayment of six months of grant payments applies.

• Facility type: Hospital. Level 1 Trauma center and teaching hospital in Northern Michigan.
• Open positions: 3 CT/MRI Technologists.
• Shift: Other. Schedule may include days and nights. Final shift schedule determined during manager interview.
• Compensation is market competitive and varies by experience.
• Recruiting process notes: Screen all candidates for relocation willingness at first contact. Once a candidate is identified, a link will be provided for required candidate submission. The recruiter completes prescreening, the manager conducts interviews, and offers are determined by hiring authority based on experience. Hiring updates will be provided weekly.
• Placement stability requirement: Candidates must remain in role at least 90 days. If a candidate departs within 60 days and a replacement cannot be placed within 60 days, the client may require a refund of fees.
