Van Route DriverPosition SummaryThe Van Route Driver is responsible for safely and reliably transporting passengers on assigned routes while following all company standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports schools, community programs, and contracted services through consistent, on time performance.More than just driving, this position represents safety, professionalism, and a strong customer experience on every route.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Safely operate a company van on assigned routes and schedulesTransport passengers to and from designated locations in a timely mannerConduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concernsEnsure compliance with all DOT and state transportation regulationsMaintain accurate route logs and required documentationCommunicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changesMaintain a clean and orderly vehicle interiorProvide professional and courteous service to passengers and clientsFollow company safety standards and emergency proceduresEducation, Experience and Skills:Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordPrevious professional driving experience preferredAbility to pass required background checks and drug screeningStrong commitment to safety and customer serviceEffective communication skillsAbility to manage time and follow assigned routesAbility to work early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts as requiredReady BusAverage Pay Rate18.87Benefits and Total RewardsWe believe in rewarding great people with meaningful benefits that support your health, growth, and long term success.Part Time Team MembersDental insuranceVision insurancePaid trainingAnnual bonus opportunityCareer development opportunitiesThis job description outlines the general nature and level of responsibilities associated with this position.
