Mammography Technologist

Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time/ Part Time/ Per Diem
Salary: $55–$65 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and compassionate  Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic breast imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Properly position patients and operate mammography equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and quality-control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients about the mammography process.
• Maintain a high standard of image quality and accuracy.
  

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a  Mammography Technologist .
• Proficiency in mammography procedures and imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with X-ray and other imaging modalities is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
