Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups, including post-surgical and medical comorbidity patients
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and maintain professional accountability
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
• Operate unit equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, PCA pumps, and remote telemetry monitors
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, and turn patients with assistance; must push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. and pinch up to 15 lbs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA only
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Experience with Oncology, Neuro Surgical Recovery, or Surgical patient populations (GI, GU, Plastics, Overflow Ortho)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
