Quality engineer

job summary:
Our Client, an employee-owned green energy leader, seeks a Quality Engineer in Bridgewater, NJ. Ideal candidates possess an engineering degree and 2-5 years of QA/QC experience in structural steel, piping, pressure vessels, or the energy sector. You must be familiar with construction codes like AWS, ASME, and API, and have experience performing welding, bolting, and dimensional inspections. • Develop and execute quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.

• Conduct vendor audits to verify compliance with project specifications and construction codes during short trips.

• Document inspection results, analyze quality data, and prepare detailed reports for mechanical and structural assemblies.

• Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement effective corrective actions to address quality issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to coordinate inspection schedules and ensure standards are met.
