Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

RN – LDR

Nights 18:45-07:15, every other weekend required, 2-3 on-call shifts a month, holidays required in rotation.

Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications
• Must have taken a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months and be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start
• 2 years of LDR experience required, with a preference for 3+ years in a rural hospital
• Must be willing to float to medical/surgical as needed for overflow patients
• EPIC experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to women in labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in the delivery of infants and postpartum care.
• Float to the medical/surgical unit as needed.
