Litigation Associate – Automotive Consumer Litigation

A fabulous, global law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least one year of general litigation experience to join its automotive consumer litigation defense practice.

As their new associate, you will handle a broad range of litigation responsibilities, including:

• Managing discovery requests and responses
• Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda and correspondence
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Attending hearings and court conferences
• Taking and defending depositions
• Assisting with trial preparation and trial proceedings
• Travel required statewide for warranty inspections

Qualifications

• Admission to the California Bar is required
• You must have Graduated from an ABA-accredited law school
• At least one year of general litigation experience
• Product liability and/or consumer law experience is a plus
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities

Salary and Benefits

The salary range is $170,000 to $215,000, depending on experience and qualifications.  The firm offers a professional, collegial work environment and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, a 401(k), and additional benefits.
