Staffing CoordinatorImmediate contract opportunity with our skilled nursing facility in Holtsville, NY.Note: Must have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital or long-term care)Pay Rate: $30/hr Work Schedule:Monday-Friday 8am-4pmJob DetailsThe Staffing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of nursing staff within the long-term care facilityThis includes managing the staffing levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and addressing any scheduling issues that may ariseThe role involves effective communication with various departments to guarantee the appropriate allocation of resources and maintain a qualified and skilled workforceManage monthly calendars and staff callouts appropriately by following proper protocolAnswer nursing department phonesHandle timeclock reports and attendance recordsAssist nursing and human resources departments as neededQualificationsMust have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care)Strong computer skills and proficiency with Smartlinx requiredMust have professional demeanor, excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work well independently and as part of a team
